I found the doctor to be very understanding of my condition and sympathetic to my concerns. The procedure was clearly explained with two options offered. I elected for the least invasive one and, although the procedure was painful, the outcome appears better than expected. From the time we met, i was impressed by the Doctors quiet confidence, expertise and caring professionalism, in short, a very nice, competent man who, i would say, is an asset to the medical profession, i would not hesitate in accepting any future treatment offered by him. All staff involved, from reception and theatre, through to aftercare were very professional but caring, which instils patient confidence.

Mr Shyamalan replaced both of my basal thumb joints on separate occasions. Quiet spoken, caring and professional surgeon who explained everything before I signed the consent form. Wonderful results both times

I recently had surgery on my hand and Mr Shyamalan was extremely understanding and reassuring from the day I was referred to him. I am now almost 7 weeks post op and it has definately made such a difference to my daily activities and I'm pain free. Surgery was very successful and I,m really pleased with the result. All the staff who were involved in my care, were very professional too. I would highly recommend Mr Shyamalan for any surgery in his specialised area of expertise. Many, many thanks to all.
